Much needed comfort

If Major were a medicine,
I'd buy share in the company.

My Great Dane is a healer. Not in a hippy dippy kinda way. This boy has helped to ease the hurt of loosing a friend. He's made me laugh when I felt laughing was impossible and he continues to keep me smiling through painful memories.
Of course my children are great healers too. Now the eldest can say the right thing and comfort me with a hug but Maj is they only one who doesn't need me to explain myself. He is happy to stay by my side, and leech along wherever I am going.

Soon a year will have passed since I lost Braise to kidney disease.
My little family and I are preparing his flower garden ready for the day.
I wonder if my boys ever met how they would have got along...

We hope that the anniversary of Braise's passing gives you time to reflect on a lot of happy memories and isn't too painful.

I often think the same thing about other dogs that I have had in my life!

They would be brothers, parnters in crime and the best of friends. This is why Maj fell in to your life and has lit it up with slobber and kisses every day since.

I know exactly what you are talking about!!! The unconditional love you get from a dog is just wonderful! I don't know what I would have done without my dogs! All of them!

Dogs are wonderful. They help to de-stress us, heal us, and make us laugh. You can't ask for a much better companion than that.
